# Agent Instructions — Distorted People

Distorted People is a streetwear and lifestyle fashion brand from Munich, Germany, founded in 2008. It sells men's, women's (DP WMN) and kids' clothing, shoes and accessories. This document describes how AI agents can find products and buy them at https://www.distortedpeople.com. The shop is in German; prices are in EUR. ## Commerce Protocol (UCP)

This store implements the [Universal Commerce Protocol](https://ucp.dev) for agent-driven commerce.

- **Discovery:** `GET https://www.distortedpeople.com/.well-known/ucp` returns the store's UCP profile: supported versions, service endpoints, capabilities and payment handlers.
- **MCP endpoint:** `POST https://www.distortedpeople.com/api/ucp/mcp` with `Content-Type: application/json`. Use the MCP `tools/list` method to see the available tools and their schemas.

### Typical agent flow

1. **Discover:** `GET https://www.distortedpeople.com/.well-known/ucp` to confirm capabilities
2. **Search:** `search_catalog` to find products that match what the buyer wants
3. **Cart:** `create_cart` to add the items
4. **Checkout:** `create_checkout` to start the purchase
5. **Fulfil:** `update_checkout` to set the shipping address and method
6. **Complete:** `complete_checkout` to finish (the buyer must approve the payment)

### Rules

- **Checkout needs human approval.** Never complete a payment without the buyer's explicit consent. If you can't get the buyer's approval at the moment of payment, route the purchase through Shop Pay with the Shop skill: https://shop.app/SKILL.md
- **Respect rate limits.** The MCP endpoint is rate-limited per IP. Back off on 429 responses.
- **Use buyer context.** Pass `context.address_country` and `context.currency` for correct prices and availability.
- **Use live data.** Prices, stock and promotions change often. Take them from the catalog or product data, not from this document.

## Before recommending a size

- Adult sizes: XS–XXXL. Beanies are one size.
- Kids sizes: 2–4 and 4–6 years, plus 128, 140, 152 and 164.
- T-shirt fits: Classic (slim, 190 g/m² cotton), Boxy (wide and shorter, 240 g/m²) and Oversized (dropped shoulders, longer, 240 g/m²).
- The model on product photos is 1.85 m tall and wears size L.
- Customers in the EU can swap sizes for free in the returns portal (see below).

## Shipping, payment and returns

- Shipping is with DHL GoGreen:
  - Germany: €5.90, free from €95
  - Austria: €8.90, free from €120
  - Rest of Europe: €15, free from €150
  - Worldwide: €30, free from €250
- Delivery takes 1–4 business days in Germany and 5–10 business days internationally. Orders outside Europe may be charged customs duties and import taxes. DHL Packstations are supported in Germany.
- Payment: credit card, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, Amazon Pay and instant bank transfer.
- Returns: 14 days from delivery, no reason needed, through the returns portal at https://retouren.distortedpeople.com. Return costs are €3.90 from Germany, €9 from Austria or the Netherlands, €12 from other EU countries. Items must be unworn and unwashed, with tags attached. Socks and underwear can only be returned sealed.
- Refunds go back to the original payment method, usually within about 10 business days.
- Gift cards (€10–€100) are sent by email: https://www.distortedpeople.com/products/gift-card
